Privacy policy
Sunwoo Electric Co., Ltd. ("the company") handles personal information received through the website inquiry form as follows, in line with the Personal Information Protection Act of Korea.
1. Purpose
We use it only to answer your product and quote inquiries, and for no other purpose.
2. Information collected
- Required: name, email, message
- Optional: company, phone, country, product or model, quantity
- Used for spam protection: IP address, browser information
3. Retention and deletion
Nothing is stored on the website server. Your inquiry is sent to the company mailbox, kept for three years from the day we receive it, and then deleted.
We delete it from the mailbox and the trash so it cannot be recovered. Printed copies are shredded.
4. Disclosure to third parties
We do not provide your personal information to anyone else, except where the law specifically requires it.
5. Outsourcing
We use the following services to handle inquiries. They may use the information only for these tasks, and we will update this policy if they change.
- Cloudflare, Inc.: website hosting, delivering inquiries, spam protection (Turnstile)
- Google LLC: storing inquiry emails (Gmail)
6. Transfer outside Korea
To answer your inquiry, your personal information is transferred outside Korea for outsourced processing and storage as follows (Article 28-8(1)3 of the Personal Information Protection Act).

- When and how: when you send the form, over an encrypted internet connection
- Information: all items in section 2
- Purpose: website hosting, delivering inquiries, spam protection
- Retention: your inquiry is passed on, not stored. Connection information is handled under Cloudflare's policies for as long as spam protection needs it.
Google LLC (googlekrsupport@google.com)
- Countries: the United States and other countries where Google operates data centers
- When and how: by email when you send the form
- Information: the required and optional items in section 2
- Purpose: storing inquiry emails
- Retention: three years from the day we receive it
If you do not want your information transferred outside Korea, please call us at +82-32-341-2324 or send a fax to +82-32-341-2325 instead of using the form. You will not be able to use the form, but there is no other disadvantage.
7. Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your personal information, or to stop its processing, yourself or through a representative. Contact sunwoo24@gmail.com or call +82-32-341-2324, and we will act without delay.

8. Security
- The website and the form use an encrypted connection (HTTPS).
- Inquiries are not stored on the website server or in its logs.
- Only people the company designates can use the mailboxes that receive inquiries.
9. Cookies
This website does not use cookies for visitor analytics or advertising.
The spam protection on the contact page (Cloudflare Turnstile) may set security cookies to check that you are human. You can block cookies in your browser settings.
The location map on the Company page is provided by Google Maps (Google LLC). When the map loads, Google may set cookies or receive connection information under the Google Privacy Policy.
