Sunwoo Electric is a power electronics company in Bucheon, Gyeonggi-do, Korea. We manufacture rectifiers, inverters and power units, and supply power electronic components.

Founded in 2004, Sunwoo Electric is a company dedicated to the research and development of power electronic equipment. Building on decades of experience in power semiconductor applications and automation, in 2005 we spent six months with a major Korean company developing 2.5 MW and 1 MW IGBT inverters, a first in Korea at that capacity, and brought them into commercial operation.
We have since developed high-voltage inverters from 800 kVA to 4.5 MVA, and continue research and development for electric vehicles, solar power, welders and wind power.
With our experience and know-how in medium and high-capacity development, we will do our best to meet our customers' needs and to remain a company you can always trust.
